Southern Style

So this week’s theme for food is southern food. Yes, I am going to be attempting to make a King Ranch Chicken. I will also be making appetizers and dessert 😋 

Appetizers

For the appetizers I will be taking baguette and slicing it into mouth fit piece. Then I get all kinds of cheese, so that people have choses, and salami, pepperoni, Parma ham and will have fruit on the side. People can make their own slices and put on whatever they want. It is the perfect appetizer to start of the night. 

The King Ranch Chicken

For the main course we have the King Ranch Chicken. Now it might not look like it, but it can be very difficult to make it. That is why I have practiced a little bit before making it this Sunday. I found this recipe online and I will be putting the link in the end of this paragraph. Just a little note that everything I got for this chicken I got from the farmer’s market, and I make a habit of going there from time to time.

Dessert

For dessert I will be making the famous apple crumble, served with ice cream. Now this recipe is very simple but is also very classic, so no one can complain😉. It can also be good with chocolate ice cream but we all know that vanilla is the best 😜.
